NEW Subtle Activism: Spiritual Responsibility at this Time of Global Crisis and Transformation

David Thomas Nicol interviews Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee for the Subtle Activism Summit, The Inner Dimension of Peace Building.

Subtle Activism is an emerging subject that explores how spiritual practices can effect not only individual but also collective or global transformation. This interview explores this bigger dimension of spiritual practice, and also how many of these practices traditionally give us access to the inner worlds, where we can work with the forces within creation to help the regeneration of the Earth. It looks at the power of prayer as well as ways of working with the energies of the archetypal world. Finally it explains how we need to bring our connection to the Real into our daily life.

NEW Oneness & the Inner Worlds

Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee's Interview with Steve Farrell, Worldwide Coordinating Director of Humanity's Team.

In this interview from July 30, 2015, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee and Steve Farrell, Worldwide Coordinating Director of Humanity's Team, discuss our spiritual responsibility at this present time of transition and the critical importance of awakening to a consciousness of Oneness. In response to amazing questions from listeners, Llewellyn spoke eloquently about the Earth as a living being and our need to connect with her Soul. He shared that "the Earth is not a problem to be solved. Remember, the Earth is sacred. We have to reclaim our relationship to the sacred within Creation." He spoke further about our need to truly grieve what is happening, for it is this grief that takes us deep into the love in our hearts, and it is that love that bonds us to the heart of the world.

Changing the Story: The Need for Magic

With Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee

God is Alive, Magic is Afoot — Leonard Cohen

In order to free our world from its present nightmare of materialism and exploitation, we need a new story—a story of oneness and interdependence, of cooperation rather than competition. But to make this transition we need a power, the magic that belongs to life itself. How can we find this magic to give birth to a new story of oneness, of the earth as a living, self-sustaining whole, full of beauty and wonder?

SACRED SEED: A Collection of Essays - Book Trailer
Introduced by Vandana Shiva
"Whatever happens to seed affects the web of life." —Vandana Shiva
Essential to survival, seeds have profound spiritual implications. For centuries the planting of the seed in the earth not only nourished humanity, but also symbolized the mystery of life and the journey of the soul. In our current supermarket lifestyle of pre-packaged products, far removed from the cycles of planting, we have nearly forgotten this mystery. Now as the integrity of the seed is threatened, so is its primal meaning.
The book includes contributions from His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, H.H. the 17th Karmpapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, Benedictine Sister Joan Chittister, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, Rabbi Arthur Waskow, Chief Tamale Bwoya, Blu Greenberg, Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Nan Lu, OMD, Swami Omkarananda, Dena Merriam & others.

NEW Spiritual Ecology

with Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee

Recorded December 3, 2011 at the Mercy Center, Burlingame, California

What are the spiritual roots of our present ecological crisis?

While we are confronted by the tangible threats of global warming and species depletion, the loss of the sacred is as devastating to our soul and the soul of the world. And yet this inner tragedy is mostly hidden from our consciousness. But if we are to restore the balance in our world, we need to go beneath the surface to heal the split between spirit and matter and help to bring the sacred back into life.

Darkening of the Light: Witnessing the End of an Era, a new book by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, is a witness to the loss of the light of the sacred reflected in our continued destruction and desecration of life's fragile ecosystem. The Significance of this Moment in Time

With Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee
Recorded at the 2011 Science and Nonduality conference.

What is the meaning of this moment in time? Spiritual teachings tell us that time is an illusion and only the moment is real. And yet there are moments in our individual and collective destiny that offer a unique opportunity, a possibility for real change. What is this moment in time calling for? Are we awake, fully attentive to the changes happening around us? Are we able to listen to the real need so that we can step through the door that is being opened?

Mysticism awakens us to our real power and potential, so that we can contribute fully at this time of global transition. It connects us with what is real: the oneness of life.

Awakening To Oneness

with Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee
March 2004: Recorded in San Rafael, California at the event with Adyashanti

This talk addresses the deep need for seekers from all traditions to participate in the emerging work with oneness. How do we awaken within oneness? How do we work with the energy of oneness to help heal the wounds of the world so that our global community can begin manifesting the power, peace, and awareness that is our true nature? Vaughan-Lee explains that when we awake within oneness, we can participate in the spiritual work of the coming era -- infusing the web of life with a spiritual consciousness that can nourish the whole and help our global community enter the next stage in its evolution.

Spiritual Responsibility At A Time Of Global Crisis

with Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee
November 2003: Recorded at the National Cathedral School, Washington, DC

Spiritual energy is needed for global transformation. Spiritual traditions and their practices give us access to this energy, but we need to learn how to work with it for the sake of the whole. When different spiritual traditions come together for the sake of the whole, we open a doorway to the energy and power of oneness and help to align it with the need of the time. This talk explores the theme of spiritual responsibility at a time of global crisis -- how we can work together for the sake of the One, bringing the presence of the divine into the world.
